Autumn Leaves

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I find Autumn very inspiring. There are so many changes around us and so much to see. Knowing that the trees would be turning, I took my camera and headed to a nearby park to take some Autumnal snapshots.

The following Tanka was inspired by the sights and photographs I took:

The trees are aflame.
Leaves of red, orange and yellow.
Fires descending down
touching upon the cold earth
and extinguishing to brown.
